Dr. Paul obtained his Dentistry degree from Griffith University in Queensland, after having completed his Pharmacy degree. He moved to Perth for several years before finding his way back to his beautiful hometown of Melbourne.
Combining his knowledge from both Pharmacy and Dentistry, Paul believes in caring for his patients with a personalised approach while providing them with the best possible dental experience. In the dental field, Paul has stayed progressive and is always looking for the newest techniques to provide the best possible outcome for patients.

He has a strong interest towards surgery including wisdom teeth removal and implants. Paul has completed his fellowship and is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID). Paul continually undertakes the latest training in Australia and internationally to provide the most up-to-date care and treatment possible.
He has completed year-long residencies in orthodontics, IAADent Orthodontics Course (2018) and Dr Steve Gallea’s Orthodontic Residency (2016), which is growth and airway-centric, as well as numerous other cosmetic orthodontic programs including Smilefast, Smilestyler and Inman Aligner systems designed for adults.
Aside from his continuous dental pursuits and further education, Paul is a bit of a thrill seeker and travels across Victoria to catch some good downhill mountain biking action. During the cold season, he switches up the bike for the board and makes multiple trips across the Victorian Alps to catch some powder. He is also a proud dad of two beautiful young girls.
Dr Shirlyn
BDSc UWA, WA
Dr Shirlyn graduated from the University of Western Australia, where she was born and raised. One of her top priorities is making sure her patients have a positive dental experience. With her bubbly personality and caring nature, Shirlyn enjoys providing orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry.
She has completed her early intervention orthodontic residency with IAADent (Sydney) in 2018 and is now undertaking the OrthoEd Mini Masters taught by renowned Melbourne orthodontist, Dr Geoff Hall. She is also a SmileStyler-accredited dentist.
Dr Shirlyn has always had an interest in styling and is always looking for ways to elevate her home or plan the next family event. She also enjoys trying out new recipes and baking with her little girls.
Dr Kristy
Dr. Kristy Te graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours. She started working in regional Victoria where she gained invaluable experience before moving back to Melbourne to be closer to family.
Dr. Kristy has continued her education in Australia and abroad in a variety of subjects including restorative, orthodontics, sleep and oral myology. Dr Kristy has had the opportunity to learn many well-known speakers including Pascal Magne, Derek Mahoney and Terry Wong. She understands that many patients may have anxiety and will work together with them to achieve a healthier more confident smile.
She is passionate about preventive care and providing solutions before problems become worse. Dr Kristy appreciates how fortunate we are to have options for quality care in Australia. This led her to complete volunteer dental care for primary-aged children in regional areas of Vietnam.
When Dr Kristy isn’t crafting new smiles, she is likely crafting another hobby or cooking something.

Dr. Ann completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery training at The University of Melbourne. After graduating, she committed to several years working in regional Ballarat to develop her surgical skills and further honoured her ability to provide personalised care to diverse patients.
She has now returned to Mulgrave and is committed to making a positive contribution to the community that she grew up in.
Her combined qualifications as a Pharmacist helped her to develop effective communication and understanding of patients’ health needs. She is also a provider of aligner therapy and loves how this treatment gives her patients newfound confidence through aligning their smiles.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing 9-holes, going out to eat foods from different cultures and spending quality time with her young family of four.

Dr Kevin grew up in Perth WA however graduated locally from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He is experienced in treating patients from a diverse range of backgrounds in both the public and private sectors across various communities in Victoria.
Kevin is an empathetic and honest clinician who always endeavours to deliver the most personalised care to all his patients. He is passionate about preventative and restorative general dentistry and enjoys educating his patients on the importance of their oral health. Kevin also has a special interest in crown/bridge dental work and surgical extractions including wisdom teeth.
Gentle in his demeanour, Kevin welcomes those who are anxious to receive dental treatment. He is committed to learning and consistently strives for improvement as he regularly attends professional development courses.
Outside of the clinic, Kevin loves trying different food at the newest cafes and restaurants around Melbourne. He also enjoys catching up on the latest movies and TV shows.

Dr Michael graduated from Latrobe University and brings over 10 years of experience to Purity Dental. Taking pride in creating a comfortable dental experience for his patients and creating trusting relationships, he believes firmly in educating each of his patients to ensure they are able to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Dr Michael has a special interest in dental implants and perioplastic gum surgery, which led him to complete a 2-year Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Implants at the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners. When combined with continual education that he regularly attends both in Australia and internationally, it ensures that he is able to provide treatment of the highest quality for each of his patients.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter, and will usually be busy planning their next family adventure.

1. How often should my family visit the dentist?
For optimal oral health, it's recommended to visit the dentist twice a year for preventive checkups and cleanings. With regular preventative dentistry, we hope to protect your smile from the most common oral health problems, including tooth decay and gum disease. If we find anything during your checkup, we can treat it quickly, preventing a more serious problem from developing.
In between visits, however, here’s what you can do at home to make sure your oral health is in tiptop shape:
◉ Brush twice a day, or after every meal if possible
◉ Floss at least once a day, preferably at night time
Night time oral cleaning is the most important to remove all the food and contaminants built up during the day. This prevents bacteria from sitting on your teeth all night which can lead to rapid decay. We also recommend that you have a balanced diet and minimise foods high in sugar or carbohydrates, and foods that are acidic or that will contribute to staining.

If you allow your dental problem to go untreated, the pain may worsen and the condition may get severely worse so make sure to call us straight away if you experience any of the below symptoms:
